Artist's Comments

it's pencil. it's sketchy. it's..quick. oh well.

[part of the] description for 'people' : "Drawings of the likeness of a person or a group of people that does not qualify as a portrait." well.. it sort of has the likeness of a person, right? right?!? i hope so. sort of.

i got bored. he was painting something and so he was almost still. or so i was led to believe. until i had my pencil in hand and found he was moving. quite a bit. so i guessed some. and it's obviously a sketch, but i like things in my gallery. don't use the stupid 'scrapbook' thing.. gr.. if you don't like it enough to go in the gallery, don't submit, i say. but whatever. it has uses for some i guess. so. any-sort-of-comment-at-all-even-if-it-is -about-a-walrus? i'm curious.

i love this. i like how you juxtapose the blankness of his face with the busy lines in his arms and body. i especially like how the method of execution is clearly visible in the way you drew your lines, the way you connected them.

and screw the scrapbook!! if you feel that it's complete, then by all means, complete it must be!!

and sorry, no comments about a walrus.. not today anyway. =)
:icontefernini:
hehe. i love that you take my messy drawings and make them sound so thought-out. or at least meaningful. you see some sort of positive aspect, anyway. it's certainly not what the word "complete" usually means. but it was how i felt like drawing at the time. and faces i think are interesting but he kept moving his head. so.. oh well. he'll pose for me someday and stay STILL.

i like a walrus. i don't like that the plural of 'walrus' is 'walrus' or 'walruses' though. it should be walrusi.
octopus--> octopi. damn, the english language sucks sometimes.
=(

everything is thought out. whether you're aware of it or not.

i like the noticable executive speed in your drawings. it makes it seem like you're more concerned about the idea, conveying a specific and immediate feeling, than about touching it up to absolute perfection and driving away any processed thought (which great aesthetics have a tendency to hinder). you make it look good. and encourage thought as well.
:icontefernini:
lol. i make it look good; you make it sound good. we'd work well marketing together. and again, thank you. :star:

I like the casual style of the drawing. The work on the jaw looks especially good.

Forgive your enemies. It messes with their heads.
:icontefernini:
really? i didn't like the jaw that much.. they never look right. the sleeves were more fun. :) but thank you! i like sketches (done by other people too. mostly other people.) better than finished drawings often. which is sort of weird. but they're more real. you get a better sense of what the artist thinks are the important bits of the picture. like daVinci. his horse sketches are the most beautiful things... you seem to have gained a better persepective for line than i've seen previously.

this was so long ago it might be gone by now.

something we all should realize
:icontefernini:
=( probably. sadly. but i like these types of drawings best. and i do do them in class sometimes. just not as sketchy liney. what makes this good? i mean.. i like it, but dunno bout you.
